Twisted Kingdom by Rina Kent is an explosive conclusion to Aiden and Elsa’s story.

Getting this note out of the way: Spoilers Ahead! Do not read this review if you haven’t read books 1 and 2. If you’re looking for a Bully Romance – I highly recommend this because (long review short) –
a) Aiden is a deviant overly possessive hero harboring dark secrets
b) Elsa is a strong female and knows how to handle him
c) Amazing plot, Addictive read and fabulous side characters
I loved the character development of Elsa Steel! After that shocker of an ending in Book 2 and a lot of revelation, she doesn’t know what her next steps should be.Her father is alive, she has foster siblings she doesn’t remember meeting in her childhood, and Aiden is engaged to Silver, her arch enemy.
Although all the secrets set her back, they only strengthen her. She isn’t willing to let Aiden slide right back into her life. She is resilient, has a darkness of her own, and doesn’t let Aiden railroad her.
It’s been an intense journey discovering her past and reeling from all the feelings.
Seriously, what is it about these dark heroes? I LOVE Aiden. He is still that dark, crazy, alpha hole with a faulty moral compass. He realizes that his games and secrets are now biting him in the butt, but Elsa is It for him and he’ll do anything to get her back.
Jonathan King almost ruined their relationship at the end of Steel Princess, but he will allow no one to hurt Elsa anymore.
Aiden is so into Elsa. He loves her and it shows. Since there are chapters in his POV, we see his thoughts always turning to Elsa. He is jealous when some other guy talks to her. He feels wrecked that she has turned his back on him. He knows he can’t survive without her.
It’s finally clear why Aiden targeted Elsa in the first book. He is more vulnerable in this book, and I think I fell for him more.
The chemistry in this book – the entire three books – is scorching!
They have an angsty relationship, due to all the past secrets and the circ*mstances in which they first meet. Elsa doesn’t know because of her memory loss, whereas Aiden’s turned into a sociopath, wanting to burn down Elsa’s wall.
Rina nicely wrapped their entire journey up in this book. I really am in awe of Rina’s writing and how she’s brought Aiden and Elsa together. She has weaved the plot well – with all the suspense and mystery, and some amazing supporting characters.
This was my first series read by Rina Kent, and she’s quickly become a go-to whenever I have a thirst for Dark Romances.

Twisted Kingdom is book three of Royal Elite Series and should be read after Deviant King & Steel Princess. This is a dark high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains dubious situations that some readers might find offensive.
This book is the final part of a trilogy and is NOT standalone.
