The Columbia River Knife & Tool M4 13 is another Kit Carson designed knife featuring the Out Burst assisted opening system.  This 4 3/8" closed, linerlock knife is also fitted with the Auto LAWKS Safety system that turns this folding knife into a virtual fixed blade knife automatically when snapped open. 

The AUS-8 stainless steel blade comes with bead blast finish and dual thumb studs.  The blade is also unique in that it is made with the new Veff serrations.  The handle is textured black Zytel with brushed stainless bolsters and the rear handle has a stainless pocket clip.

The assisted opening blade on this top quality knife snaps open as fast as any switchblade yet it is legal under the US Federal Switchblade laws.  And for those situations when an auto opener is something you want to avoid but still want to have a pocket knife the OutBurst assist mechanism is easily removed or replaced. It is held in place with a single set screw.
