This knife is one of a very few still available made with ATS-34 steel.  Buck Knives has discontinued useing this fine steel.  The blade is stamped "Buck 182 [ U.S.A. ATS-34". This stamping indicates the knife to have been made in 1999.  It is brand new, in the original box, with warranty papers.
