The Buck 425 is called the Mini Buck.  This knife has been used.  The 425U indicates this knife to have been made in 1998.  It is tang stamped "Buck 425U U.S.A."

This super light weight, lockback, pocket knife, has been discontinued by Buck Knives but it continues to be a very popular knife for folks looking for a lightweight pocket tool that will hold up to real use.  The Mini Buck fills the bill.  It weighs in at less than an ounce and is made with the same quality stainless steel that goes into the bigger knives made by this respected cutler. 

The black thermoplastic handle is skeletonized to help make this little wonder even lighter yet.  The handle has some smooth pocket wear from carry.  The drop point clip blade has been sharpened with straight, equal, bevels, and is razor sharp.
