The Old Timer 125OT is called the Mustang.  It is a 5 1/4" closed, Folding Hunter pattern pocket knife, with brass liner lock.  The handles are made of saw cut Delrin and have that same unmistakeable look of a knife "Just Like Grandad's".  The handles are brass pinned to brass liners and flanked with mirror polished, nickel silver, bolsters. 

This particular knife was made as a special factory order for the group called "Asten".  They had their name with logo engraved on the rear shield of this knife.  I have secured a small number of these USA made Old Timers.  They are in Mint Condition.  They come bulk packed, no box, with the original warranty papers.

The Old Timer 194OT is called the Gunstock Trapper.  It is a 3 7/8" closed, single blade, trapper pattern pocket knife fitted with a brass linerlock.  The handle is done in the distinctive saw cut delrin which is so recognizable as a "Knife Just Like Grandad's".  The "Staglon" scales are flanked with highly polished, nickel silver bolsters, and the front hande is inlaid with an Old Timer shield.

The 3 1/8" clip blade is tang stamped "Schrade  U.S.A. 194OT".  This stamping indicates this knife to be made in the Schrade Ellenville, N.Y. factory before it closed.  You will find this great example of Old Timer pocket knives to be in near mint condition.  It appears unused and the only wear I can detect looks like just very minor handling wear.

The Schrade Cub is a 2 1/4" closed, mini folding hunter pattern, lockback knife with hard wood scales and lanyard shackle.  The Schrade + stainless steel clip blade is tang stamped "Schrade + U.S.A. LB1".  This popular knife was made in the Ellenville, New York factory before Schrade shut down.  The Cub was a very popular knife even before Schrade closed.  Now collectors are making sure they have a nice example of this one.  Users are grabbing them up knowing that there will be no more of these small, lightweight, yet rugged pocket tools.

This one has been carried but used very little.  The blade is unsharpened and shows only a very few wisps of surface scratches from use.  The blade locks up tight as a drum with no wiggle at all in the joint.  The Rosewood scales are free of any cracks or chips and are very attractive with no scars or scratches.  The bolsters show coin nicks and rubs from carry.  The shackle is solid, tight, and moves freely.  It has a small bend but functions well and is attractive.  I can grade this one in Excellent condition.  It will make a nice display piece or provide many years of reliable service.

 The Schrade LB 7 is a 5" closed, Folding Hunter Lockback Pocket Knife.  This knife is a USA made Schrade knife.  The tang is stamped "Schrade + U.S.A. LB 7".  Fitted with a stainless steel clip blade and brass pinned hardwood handles, you will find this piece is a throw back to the tradition of quality. 

The brass bolsters have light carry wear scratches and the blade shows scratches from use. It has been sharpened and is razor sharp.  This classic Folding Hunter will grade in Excellent condition as described.

Schrade 18OT Mighty Mite USA made W/ Brass Linerlock Pocket Knife

Schrade has closed there Ellenville,  New York factory but the demand for the quality knives they produced there has grown. 

This USA made Old Timer Mighty Mite is a 2 3/4" closed lockblade pocket knife with a carbon steel, clip blade.  The handles are what Old Timer called "unbrakeable staglon".  They are saw cut Delrin with an Old Timer shield inlaid in the front scale.  The scales are brass pinned to brass liners and flanked with nickel silver bolsters.  It has been lightly use, but not sharpened down at all.  The carbon steel blade has a light patina started that carbon steel is well known for.  The blade locks up tight as a drum with no wiggle in the joint at all and has good snap.

Schrade Old Timer 25OT Folding Hunter Pocket Knife

This vintage Special Factory Order Old Timer 25OT is in excellent condition. 

The blades have been sharpened maybe once and are done with professional, straight, equal, bevels and the edge on both the clip and spey blade is razor sharp.  The blades have aquired a light patina and some minor stains which the collector expects to see on the older carbon steel blades.  Both are very attractive.  Both blades have good snap and are tight as a drum in the joint with no wobble at all. 

The saw cut "Staglon" scales are also very nice.  Free of any chips or cracks and are tightly brass pinned to the brass liners.  The nickel silver bolsters have great shine and only very minor wisps of pocket wear.  The rear bolster is drilled for a lanyard.  The rear scale makes this 25OT very unique in that it is inlaid with an round Asten Shield.  This knife was a special factory order for that company. 

Made in the USA of course, and very hard to find even before Schrade went out of business in the USA.  This piece is one the collector will be pleased to add to their collection.  Solid and tight for many years of use if you choose to use it.  No matter what you decide to do with it you are not going to want to miss grabbing this knife for our low price of only $39.95!

The Muskrat was one of the most popular knives in the Old Timer line.  It is a a 3 7/8" closed, equal end, serpentine jack knife.  Fitted with the Unbreakable Staglon saw cut Delrin handles that gives the knife that traditional "looks just like Grandad's" appearence.   The handles are brass pinned to brass liners and flanked with nickel silver bolsters.  The blades a both Turkish Clip and have been sharpened only once. 

The Blades are very near full and the sharpening was done with straight, equal bevels.   The edges are both razor sharp.  There are light wisps of surface scratches showing light use.  The blades have good snap and no wiggle in the joints.  This knife will grade in Excellent condition as described.

The Uncle Henry 285UH is called the Pro Trapper.  It is a 3 7/8" closed, Trapper pattern pocket knife fitted with stainless steel clip, and spey blades.  The handles are those distinctive Stag Delrin scales that is so well recognized.  The front handle is inlaid with an Uncle Henry signature, arrowhead shield.  The bolsters are beautifully polished nickel. The Uncle Henry 804UH is called the Journeyman.  It is a 2 3/4" closed Fob Knife with lanyard shackle.  Fitted with Clip and Pen blades this piece is a useful item for many pocket knife chores.  The scales are Staglon and the front handle is inlaid with a Uncle Henry signature shield.  The tang is stamped "Schrade + 804UH U.S.A.".  This knife was made in the Schrade Cutlery factory in Ellenville, New York before the closing of Schrade.

The Uncle Henry Journeyman was last made in 2001 in the USA.  It has become one of the more rare USA made knives already. 

This example appears to have been sharpened very little with straight, equal, bevels, and razor sharp edges.  Both blades are tight with great snap.  It has been used very little and shows only hard to see wisps of surface scratches on the blades and bolsters.  It will grade in Excellent condition.

This one has been used and shows light wisps of surface scratches on the blades.  The blades do not appear to have been sharpened at all.  All three blades are very attractive and have good snap.  The handle minor carry wear on the bolsters.  The scales are free of any cracks or chips and are tightly pinned to the liners.
