Schrade 18OT Mighty Mite USA made W/ Brass Linerlock Pocket Knife

Schrade has closed there Ellenville,  New York factory but the demand for the quality knives they produced there has grown. 

This USA made Old Timer Mighty Mite is a 2 3/4" closed lockblade pocket knife with a carbon steel, clip blade.  The handles are what Old Timer called "unbrakeable staglon".  They are saw cut Delrin with an Old Timer shield inlaid in the front scale.  The scales are brass pinned to brass liners and flanked with nickel silver bolsters.  It has been lightly use, but not sharpened down at all.  The carbon steel blade has a light patina started that carbon steel is well known for.  The blade locks up tight as a drum with no wiggle in the joint at all and has good snap.

Schrade Old Timer 25OT Folding Hunter Pocket Knife

The blades have been sharpened and the edges on both the clip and spey blade are razor sharp.  The clip blade appears to be dubbed and is not setting all the way down in the liners. The blades have aquired a light patina and some minor stains which the collector expects to see on the older carbon steel blades.  Both blades have good snap and are tight as a drum in the joint with no wobble at all. 

The saw cut "Staglon" scales are also carry wear.  They are free of any chips or cracks and are tightly brass pinned to the brass liners.  The nickel silver bolsters have shine and surface scratches from pocket wear.  The rear bolster is drilled for a lanyard.   

Made in the USA of course, and very hard to find even before Schrade went out of business in the USA.  This piece is one the collector will be pleased to add to their collection as a great example of the use these knives are put to and still stay tight. 

This knife will grade in Fair condition.

The Old Timer 33OT is a 3 3/8" closed, jack pattern, pocket knife with "Staglon" scales brass pinned to brass liners and flanked by nickel silver bolsters.  It if fitted with Carbon Steel Clip and Pen blades which are so well known for their ability to take and hold a keen edge.

This particular knife is also unusual in that it bears the Schrade N.Y. 33OT tang stamp.  Schrade used the N.Y. stamping randoming over the years making this knife a little more attractive to the collector.

You will find this knife in Excellent condition.  The blades are very near full with that light patina Carbon Steel is famous for.  Both blades have good snap and are solid and tight in the joint.

The Delrin scales are tightly brass pinned to bass liners and flanked with attractive nickel silver bolsters.

Schrade Old Timer 7OT USA Made Folding Hunter

The Old Timer 7OT is a 5" closed lockback folding hunter pattern pocket knife.  It is called the Cave Bear.  The name fits this heavy duty pocket knife.  The knife is made with brass bolsters and liners.  The "unbreakable staglon" handles are brass pinned to the brass liners.  The Cave Bear features 3 5/8" Schrade + stainless steel clip blade.  The blade is fitted with a lockback feature to help ensure user safety while being employed on the tough jobs this handy knife was made to tackle.

This USA made Old Timer pocket knife has been carried and lightly used.  The brass bolsters have light surface scratches from what looks like just carry wear and a few tiny coin nicks.  The clip blade also shows light wisps of surface scratches.  The blade appears not to have been sharpened down at all.  It has been so lightly used that the edge is still very sharp.  This classic Old Timer 7OT will grade in Excellent condition.

This USA made Old Timer has been used and carried.  The blades show light surface scratches from normal use.  If sharpened at all it was not much since the blades are very near full.  They are attractive and show no abuse.  Both blades have good snap and are tight as a drum in the joints.  The bolsters are free of any battering or damage and show only mild carry wear.  This classis pocket knife will grade in Excellent condition as described.

Old Timer 96OT Ramrod

The Old Timer 96OT is called the Ramrod.  It is a 3 5/8" closed Stockman pattern serpentine jack pocket knife.  Fitted with stainless steel Turkish Clip, Sheepsfoot, and Spey blades.  Making it a bit unique and different from Old Timers other stockman patterns.

This knife is marked with XX over the Schrade + U.S.A. 98OT stamping.  It may have been a factory second.  The Turkish Clip blade is sharpened down at the tip a bit.  The bevels are straight and equal. 

Not only is this Old Timer pocket knife a rare Ramrod but it appears to have been stamped a second due to a incorrect blade being placed on the knife.  A normal Ramrod 98OT is fitted with Turkish Clip, Sheepsfoot, and Spey Blades. 

This one is fitted with a unique Spey blade in place of the sheepsfoot.

The Schrade LB3 is a 3" closed, Folding Hunter Patter Lockback Pocket Knife.  It is fitted with a Schrade + stainless steel drop point clip blade hardwood scales on a stainless steel frame with stainless steel bolsters. 

This knife was made in the Schrade Ellenville, New York facility before the closing of Schrade in the USA.

Schrade Uncle Henry 705UH USA Chairman Pocket Knife

Just in is this classic Uncle Henry 705UH executive pattern pocket knife called the Uncle Henry Chairman.

The Uncle Henry 705UH is a 2 3/4" closed equal end jack knife fitted with a Pen and File Blade.  The scales are the distinctive Uncle Henry Staglon with a arrowhead shield with the Uncle Henry signature.  The handles are flanked with nickel silver bolsters.  The handles are brass pinned to brass liners. 

Most attractive about this knife may be the fact that it is one of the USA made Schrade Uncle Henry knives from the Schrade facility in Ellenville, New York.  Add to that the outstanding condition of this piece and this is one the collector and user alike is not going to want to pass up.

The main Pen blade has some very hard to see wisps in the finish.  The edge is unsharpened.  The bolsters have great shine and are free of any battering or scratches.  The scales are like new.  Both blades have good snap and are solid and tight in the joints.

This classic hard to find Uncle Henry pocket knife will grade in Near Mint condition.

The Uncle Henry 285UH is called the Pro Trapper.  It is a 3 7/8" closed, Trapper pattern pocket knife fitted with stainless steel clip, and spey blades.  The handles are those distinctive Stag Delrin scales that is so well recognized.  The front handle is inlaid with an Uncle Henry signature, arrowhead shield.  The bolsters are beautifully polished nickel. The clip blade is tang stamped "Schrade + U.S.A. 285UH"

This example was made in the Schrade Ellenville, N.Y. facility before the bankrupcy. It is in excellent plus condition.  The blades are unsharpened and show only very light wisps of hard to see surface scratches.  The handle and bolsters are mint.

This example appears to have been sharpened very little with straight, equal, bevels, and razor sharp edges.  Both blades are tight with great snap.  It has been used very little and shows only hard to see wisps of surface scratches on the blades and bolsters.  It will grade in Excellent condition.
